Camp Gretchen Wilderness Survival School

I wouldn’t have ever considered myself a wilderness girl. Too many bugs, snakes, bears and the like. However, stepping into Camp Gretchen over the past few weeks has led me to something magical, something that has nurtured a calm in me, where I now crave being in those woods, walking those trails, away from the worries of the day. On June 11, I had the opportunity to participate in Gretchen’s four-hour Women’s Workshop, and I loved every minute of it. The landscape was beautiful and serene. The company was excellent. And I learned more in those four hours than I ever have in other formal trainings about the power of mental positive attitude, being prepared, and being confident in my abilities. Gretchen brings with her a background that lends itself to her work and she does it with enthusiasm, expertise, and passion, all of which are contagious.
